TERMS OF SERVICE :Commissions

1.Disclamer

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason
  • Terms outlined may vary depending on the type of commission

  • 2.Payment and Fees

  • Payment is due in full upfront
  • Payment is throught Vgen or Ko-Fi
  • There will be a rush fee for tighter deadlines

  • 3.Client Obligation

  • Provide multiple clear reference images of the character/subject.
  • You can use Moodboards
  • Assume responsibility for any important information, i.e. discription, refrene
  • Please read the T.O.S and Commission Information carefully

    • 4.Process

  • I will send over a sketch for approval before continuing the commission.
  • I will show WIPs via direct messaging throughout the commission process.
  • Clients will have the opportunity to direct alterations of the work during the sketch/thumbnail stage

  • 5.Revisions

  • Small revisions (e.g. colors, details, repositioning, font changes) are free.
  • Revisions due to my own negligence are free.
  • Additional major revisions will incur additional fees.

  • 6.Usage and Copyright

  • I, the artist, retain the rights over any commissioned works.
  • I reserve the right to post the commissioned work on my social media.
  • You must credit and link back to me/tag me when sharing or using the commissioned work.
  • For commercial use, you must purchase the rights from me at 300% the original price.

    • You may NOT use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways:

  • Claim the work as your own.
  • Remove my watermark/signature.
  • Color in my sketches or lineart.
  • Paint over or otherwise alter the artwork
  • Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
    • TERMS OF SERVICE :Adopts

    1.Personal

  • adopts are for personal, non-commercial use by default
  • banners, headers, Profile pictures, or personal branding
  • Non-commercial personal goods
  • Creative projects for fun

    • 2.Commercial

  • commercial use is NOT included by default
    • *commercial use means making money directly from the design or using the design as part of a product, brand, or monetized project.
    1. Using the design for paid projects
    2. Selling merchandice of design
    3. paid games/media
    4. Promotong product or buisness
  • commercial use may require up to 300% of the base price for broad commercial use, where the design is central to a brand, product, or project

    • 3.Editing

  • you are welcome to redesign the character to fit your preferences
  • paint over or modify the original artwork with credit
  • designs may not be used to create new adopts
  • use the original artwork commercially without permissions
  • repost the original artwork without credit
  • sell or redistribute the original artwork file by itself

    • 4.Owndership

  • you own the character design once payment is complete
  • Emmie retains copywrite to the original piece
  • all sales are final
  • when sharing the original artwork or design, please credit EmmieWowie as the designer.

    • Nothing that I make is to be used for anything involving blockchain-related technology, including but not limited to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or any future inventions in the space. Client is prohibited to sell or redistribute the work, or anything implied as representing the work in any way, via these technologies.
